PXG Chicago, located in the upscale suburb of Northbrook, IL, opened its doors on September 13, 2018. The location was selected for the large population of avid golfers and high density of private golf clubs in the surrounding area. Featuring two fitting bays, a putting green and an expansive retail area, PXG Chicago will deliver a year-round, indoor, tour-caliber fitting experience, supported by PXG’s Master Fitters.
“Right now, we have one standalone store and I know it’s going to be a huge success,” PXG founder Bob Parsons shared during PXG Chicago’s exclusive grand opening event. “I look forward to the day we can say we have fifty.”
In early 2015 PXG sold its first golf clubs. Today, PXG serves golfers in 43 countries through its fleet of mobile Master Fitters, thousands of elite green grass partners, hundreds of top-notch retail partners, and more than a dozen international distributors.
The introduction of brick-and-mortar locations in the U.S is indicative of PXG’s continued growth. According to the Golf Datatech U.S. Market Summary, August 2018, PXG 0311 Irons are the number one selling irons model based on “on-course” sales (dollars) over the past three years. The new retail and fitting studio concept will support PXG’s ability to provide “off-course” fittings to further accommodate demand for custom PXG equipment by golfers at every level of the game.
