PXG Fitting Specialists draw on years of experience in golf, with backgrounds ranging from former club pros, tour players, career club fitters, and more.
However, a strong foothold in golf is only part of the formula. PXG Fitting Specialists are PXG product and fitting experts, trained by the engineers who had a hand in designing our golf clubs. PXG even has a training and fitting sciences expert on staff to help refine and develop processes to ensure our team consistently delivers the outstanding experience we are known for.

Whether you are fitted at a PXG Fitting Studio or on the range at your home course, PXG Fitting Specialists are equipped with the entire collection of PXG clubheads, a complete matrix of more than 300 premium shafts, and industry-leading launch monitor technology in order to provide you a personalized tour-caliber fitting experience.
WHAT TO EXPECT
PXG’s one-on-one fitting experience differentiates itself in a number of compelling ways – depth of product knowledge, top-notch performance tracking technology, industry-leading components, and uncompromising customer focus. Our fitters are at your service from the moment you book your fitting through club delivery and beyond.
Step One: When you arrive to your fitting, your fitter will spend time listening and learning. Together you will discuss your performance goals, physical limitations, the strengths and weaknesses of your game, current and potential set make-up, and your ideal ball flight characteristics. Your fitter will seek to truly understand your game and will take the time to introduce PXG and how our technology can elevate your performance.
Step Two: Your hitting experience will begin with your existing clubs. We want to see what your natural tendencies are with the equipment you are accustomed to playing. We will also review your set configuration and check swing weights. If you are new to golf or don’t have your clubs, don’t despair. PXG equipment is available to you to warm up with.
Step Three: On to the fun part … seeing your game improve! Based on your existing setup and performance data, your fitter will select the PXG clubheads and shafts they believe best suit your game. Emphasis will be placed on improving your total club-by-club performance, mishits and all – not on mastering the illusive “perfect shot” (although we are certain you will enjoy a fair few during your session). Our goal is simple: to put the best possible equipment for you in your hands so you can play consistently better golf.
We will efficiently manage the number of swings you make to ensure you are able to deliver top-quality swings throughout the fitting experience. However, if at any point you feel fatigued, we will take a break. This is your session and you are in control.
Step Four: Hold on to your hat. While you will have the opportunity to see your performance data throughout the process, there is nothing like seeing how it all comes together in the end. Your fitter will show you the data from your current equipment and how it compares to the recommended PXG club configuration. Once you catch your breath, your fitter will walk you through a detailed breakdown of what they are recommending, and how and why they know it will improve your performance.
Equipped with the details for your sexy new setup, including performance data that will make you giddy, you’ll wrap up your fitting knowing that you’ve got something special to brag about next time you see your buddies on the course.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
After your fitting, your personal specifications are given to PXG’s Builders, who assemble every club by hand with painstaking care and precision. Once built and closely inspected by our world-class quality control team, your golf clubs are black-boxed and prepared for delivery.
HOW LONG IS AN AVERAGE FITTING?
Fittings vary in duration based on the type of equipment being tested. On average:
- Full Bag, Including a Putter – 2.5 hours
- Full Bag, No Putter – 2 hours
- Woods Only – 1 hour
- Irons and Wedges Only – 1 hour
- Putter Only – 30 minutes
